Episode 22

You know these times when your little voice within tells you that something doesn’t add up, somebody’s having a weird vibe, or a situation isn’t right for you, but you still go ahead with it because “now you’re here, you might as well…”?

These times when you’re negotiating with yourself and choose to postpone something that’s dear to your heart, because “you don’t have time”, “it’s not reasonable”, “what’s the point anyway?” These times when you wish you had spoken up but remained silent because “who cares anyway?”...

We’ve all been there at some point.

Especially as Highly Sensitive People, Empath, and Creatives - so much of society tells us feeling so much isn’t right, putting yourself forward isn’t right, there’s a right way of doing things and a wrong way, logic and rationality before intuition, daydreaming, gut feelings… There are so many ways we learn to give our power away.

No wonder we learn to make ourselves small, ignore our needs, and bypass our emotions.

No wonder we cut ourselves from our creative energy.

In this episode, I talk about what is self-abandonment more precisely, why we do it, how it looks, and what are the signs we are getting away from ourselves.

I also share some of my experience with that and the tools I found that actually work to help us building self-trust and stop self-abandonment so that you no longer give your power away, dear Sensitive and Creative soul!
